Zgodovina trte

300 pr. n. š. – V predrimskem času, natančneje v mlajši železni dobi, je v Brdih že razširjena vinska trta (arheološka najdba vinske pečke na Golem Brdu).

100 n. š. – Tradicija vinarstva v Brdih se okrepi s prihodom starih Rimljanov. V tem obdobju raste trta po sadnem drevju. Tak način gojenja se ohrani do konca 19. stoletja. V villi rustici v Neblem so izdelovali amfore, ki so služile prenašanju vina in oljčnega olja.

1336 – Prva omemba rebule v Brdih v kupoprodajni pogodbi v vasi Višnjevik.

V srednjem veku se uveljavi posebna oblika fevdalnega sistema, imenovana kolonat, ki je v veljavi vse do druge polovice 20. stoletja.

1870 – Trtna uš skoraj v celoti uniči vinograde v Brdih. Odtlej se trte cepijo na podlago. Vinogradništvo se močno spremeni.

1881 – Katalonski grof Silverio de Baguer, zadnji lastnik Dobrovskega gradu, zasadi prvi vinograd »na novi način« – brez opore dreves.

1894 – De Baguer napiše enciklopedično kronologijo, v kateri podrobno opiše način pridelave vina v Brdih.

1922 – Osemintrideset kolonov ustanovi prvo zadrugo v Brdih in od fevdalnega gospoda odkupi 230 hektarjev zemlje.

1955 – Zadružno vinarstvo Brda prične na Dobrovem graditi novo klet.

1957 – Sodobna klet sprejme prvi pridelek.

1962 – Vinska klet Goriška Brda prvič pridela Penečo rebulo.

1979 – Največja količina pridelka: 150 milijonov kilogramov grozdja.

1984 – Prvi izvoz v ZDA.

1991 – Sprememba sloga pridelave in usmeritev v izvoz.

2002 – Več kot milijon steklenic na svetovnem trgu – odprtje posebnega izvoznega skladišča.

Geschichte der Weinrebe

300 v. Chr. - In der Vorrömerzeit, genauer in jüngerer Eisenzeit, war die Weinrebe in Brda bereits weit verbreitet (Archäologen haben im Dorf Golo Brod die Reste von Traubenkernen gefunden).

100 n. Chr. - Die Tradition des Weinbaus in Brda wird mit Ankunft der alten Römer verstärkt. Der Weinstock wächst in jener Zeit an Obstbäumen. Diese Anbaumethode blieb bis Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts erhalten. In der Villa Rustica im Dorf Neblo wurden Amphoren für den Wein- und Oliventransport hergestellt.

1336 - Die erste Erwähnung der Rebula in Brda in einem Kaufvertrag im Dorf Višnjevik.

Im Mittelalter etabliert sich eine besondere Form des Feudalismus, genannt »Colonate«, die bis in die zweite Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts andauert.

1870 - Die Rebenlaus zerstört fast vollständig die Weinberge in Brda. Von diesem Zeitpunkt an wird die Rebe auf eine Untersatz aufgepfropft. Infolgedessen verändert sich der Weinbau drastisch.

1881 - Der katalanische Graf Silverio de Baguer, letzter Besitzer des Schloßes Dobrovo, baut den ersten Weinberg auf die «neue Art» - ohne Bäume als Stützen.

1894 - Silverio de Baguer schrieb die enzyklopädische Kronologie, in der er die Weinbaupraktiken in Brda akribisch beschrieb.

1922 - 38 Taglöhner (koloni) errichteten die erste Genossenschaft in Brda und kauften 230 Hektar Land vom Grundbesitzer.

1955 - Die Winzergenossenschaft Brda beginnt in Dobrovo mit dem Bau eines neuen Weinkellers.

1957 - Der moderne Weinkeller nimmt den ersten Ertrag auf.

1962 - Der Weinkeller Goriška Brda produziert zum ersten Mal den Schaumwein Peneča rebula.

1979 - Der größte Ertrag wird produziert: 150 Millionen KilogrammWeintrauben

1984 - Der erste Export in die USA

1991 - Der Weinanbaustil wird geändert und die Kellerpolitik wird exportorientiert.

2002 - Mehr als eine Million Flaschen werden weltweit verkauft - ein spezielles Exportlager wird eröffnet.

History of the grapevine

300 b.C - Before the Roman invasion(Young Iron Age) the grapevine was already widespread in Brda (archeologists have found the rests of grape pips in the village of Golo Brod).

100 a.C - The Ancient Romans facilitated the expansion of viticulture ( The vine was grown in Roman times on fruit trees. This cultivation method was preserved until the end of 19th century). Amphoras used for wine and olive trade and transportation were manufactured in »Villa Rustica« mansion in the village Neblo.

1336 - the first mentioning of rebula in Brda was found in a purchase contract in the village Višnjevik
In the Middle Ages a special form of feudalism, called »colonate« was established, lasting here until as late as the second half of the 20th century.

1870 - Grape louse almost completely destroyed the vineyards in Brda. From then on, grafting of resistant rootstock to the vines is being used. As a result, viticulture changed drastically.

1881 - The Catalonian count, Silverio de Baguer, planted the first vineyard, implementing the« new technique«- without trees.

1894 - Silverio de Baguer wrote the Encyclopedic cronology, in which he meticulously described viticulture practices in Brda.

1922 - 38 colons established the first cooperative in Brda and bought 230 hectares od land from the landlord.

1955 - The wine-making cooperative Brda started building a new wine cellar in Dobrovo.

1957 - The modern wine cellar took in the first yield

1962 - Goriška Brda wine cellar produced- for the first time- the sparkling wine Peneča rebula

1979 - The largest yield was produced, 150 millions of kilograms in total

1984 - The first export to the USA

1991 - The winemaking style changed and the cellar’s policy became export orientated.

2002 - More than one million bottles were sold worldwide- a special export warehouse was built.
