In a telephone conversation The President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor congratulated
the Mayor of Globasnitz Bernard Sadovnik for being elected again to the position of the Mayor.
He estimated that Sadovnik’s success is the result of his political wideness and connectivity,
which is especially important nowadays.
The President was also delighted with the success of all other Slovenian candidates and
expressed his hope , that the country and federal politics, inclined to the minority ,as well as
good neighbour relations and friendship between Slovenia and Austria would continue.
