AACC signs Cooperation Agreement with the University of Tuzla

From Monday to Wednesday last week, Martin Pečar, President of the Alps-Adriatic Centre for Cross-Border Cooperation, visited the city of TUZLA. He was accompanied by Prof. Alois Dolinar, City Councillor and representative of the City of Klagenfurt and Sandra Moschitz, representatitive of the Carinthian Startup and Founder Centre build!.

The main focus of the visit was the signing of the cooperation agreement between the Alps-Adriatic Centre for Cross-Border Cooperation and the University of Tuzla. The intention of this agreement is to additionally strengthen cross-border cooperation, cultural and scientific exchange and joint projects between Carinthia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Furthermore, detailed possibilities for deeper cooperation in the fields of education, culture, language, innovations and international collaboration were discussed. The cooperation agreement was signed by the Rector of the University of Tuzla, Prof. Dr. Amir Karić, on behalf of the University of Tuzla, and by Martin Pečar on behalf of the Alps-Adriatic Centre.

As part of the visit’s program, Martin Pečar also met with the Mayor of Tuzla, Dr. Zijad Lugović.
