The majority of the USA citizens is convinced that in the financial aspect 2019 will be quite a difficult year. More than 50% is not expecting, that their financial situation would improve, such is the report of the American financial portal »Bankrate.com«. Out of this number there are 11,7 percent of the people, who expect a worse situation and 43,7 percent of the people, who expect to stay at the same level.
At the same time the population surveyed is convinced, that in the year 2019 the world market would stagnate. The government shutdown, in this moment the longest in the American history, had an additional impact on the mood, as well as the trade war with China.
Almost one half of the pesimists (49 percent) think, that the political leadership is responsible for the expected worsening of the financial situation. At the second place (38 percent) the worry about the increase of the living costs is present, 37 percent (third place) however see the reason for the decrease in high debts.
