Rojstna hiša slikarjev Jurija in Janeza Šubica, vam z zanimivo muzejsko zbirko ter pestrim razstavnim, ustvarjalnim in kulturnim programom predstavlja njihovo ustvarjalno dediščino.
Stalna muzejska zbirka, posvečena ustvarjanju rodbine Šubicev, je urejena v dveh »hišah« s krušnimi pečmi. Tu je do 1. polovice 20. stoletja delovala najpomembnejša podeželska podobarska delavnica. Glavnino stalne zbirke predstavljajo orodja in slike slikarja in restavratorja Mirka Šubica, Janeza Šubica st. ter slikarjev Jurija, Janeza ter Iveta Šubica, največja zanimivost zbirke pa je demonstracija postopkov slikarstva, rezbarstva, pozlate in freske.
V razstavni galeriji so vseskozi na ogled priložnostne razstave priznanih slovenskih slikarjev. Velik poudarek dajemo predvsem otrokom in mladim vedno zanimivim stripu, ilustraciji in karikaturi.
V slikarskem in kiparskem ateljeju sta tudi profesionalna grafična preša ter rezbarski »ponk«. Velik podstrešni prireditveni prostor, ki sprejme do 70 ljudi, lahko gosti različne kulturne prireditve, koncerte, predavanja, likovne inglasbene delavnice, projekcije filmov.
DAS ŠUBIC HAUS
Das Geburtshaus der Maler Jurij und Janez Šubic präsentiert mit einer interessanten Museumssammlung und einem vielfältigen Ausstellungs-, Kreativ- und Kulturprogramm deren künstlerisches Erbe.
Die ständige Museumssammlung, die dem Schaffen der Familie Šubic gewidmet ist, ist in zwei „Häusern“ mit Steinöfen untergebracht. Bis in die erste Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts war hier die bedeutendste ländliche Malwerkstatt tätig. Der Hauptteil der ständigen Sammlung sind die Werkzeuge und Gemälde des Malers und Restaurators Mirko Šubic, Janez Šubic’s und der Maler Jurij, Janez und Ive Šubic, die größte Besonderheit der Sammlung aber ist die Demonstration der Entstehungsschritte des Malens, Schnitzens, Vergoldens und der Wandmalerei.
Die Ausstellungsgalerie bietet immer wieder Ausstellungen renommierter slowenischer Maler. Wir legen großen Wert auf Kinder und Jugendliche, die sich stets für Strips, Illustrationen und Karikaturen interessieren.
Im Mal- und Skulpturenstudio gibt es auch eine professionelle Grafikpressen und eine Schnitzbank. Auf dem großen Dachboden mit Platz für bis zu 70 Personen können verschiedene kulturelle Veranstaltungen, Konzerte, Vorträge, Kunstworkshops und Filmvorführungen stattfinden.
THE ŠUBIC’S HOUSE
The House – the birthplace of Jurij and Janez Šubic- represents with its interesting museum collection and rich exhibition, creative and cultural program their artisan heritage.
The permanent museum collection, dedicated to the Šubic painters, is exhibited in two »houses » with a »black kitchen ». Here a very important rural painter workshop was active till the first half of the 20th century. The majority of the permanent collection shows the tools and the paintings of the painter and restorer Mirko Šubic, Janez Šubic older and the painters Jurij, Janez and Ive Šubic, the biggest curiosity of the collection is however the demonstration of the following procedures: painting, woodcarving, gilding and fresco. In the exhibition gallery there are constantly on sight occasional exhibitions of renowned Slovenian painters. A significant emphasis is dedicated especially to the children and youngsters always interesting comics, illustration and caricature.
In the painter’s and sculpturer ’s studio there are also a professional graphical press and a woodcarving desk. The big attic event room, which can accept up to 70 people, hosts different cultural events, concerts, lectures, painting and music workshops and film projections.
