Mid May the Carinthian Governor Peter Kaiser met in Voelkermarkt the Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar before the celebration of the Federal Gymnasium for Slovenes in Klagenfurt.
At the meeting both discussed good bilateral cooperation as well as the further development of the Slovenian ethnic minority in Carinthia and the German speaking minority in Slovenia.
German, Slovenian, Italian, English: that many languages open many opportunities is impressively proved by the Julius-Kugy -classes of the Federal Gymnasium for Slovenes in Klagenfurt since 25 years, writes the Carinthian press service.
Kaiser said after the talk with Pirc Musar that it confirmed the improvements of the development of the Slovenian national minority in Carinthia. Further initiatives are to follow on the field of Slovenian language promotion, especially in connection with the kindergarten pedagogy , so Kaiser.
