Almost one quarter century long he was in an outstanding way engaged as the Secretary General of the AACC (Alps Adriatic Centre for Cross-Border Co-operation). His tireless endeavour for the dialogue among the regions of the Alps-Adriatic area significantly contributed to the strengthening of the European idea.«
