These days Nova Gorica and Gorizia are inviting to the largest gathering of Slovenians from abroad, the world and the homeland. The traditional event Dobrodošli doma 2025 ( Welcome Home 2025) will take place between 13 th June and 3rd July 2025 in Nova Gorica, which is in 2025 also the European Capital of Culture. AACC is connected with this part of the Alps-Adriatic Region, since it is since years a close partner of the Municipality Brda.
The central event with singing, dancing and acting presentations of Slovenians from abroad and with a real Slovenian celebration by Sašo Avsenik Ensemble wil be on Sunday, 22nd of June, 2025. Additionally the joining programme, which will be take place in Gorizia and Nova Gorica for almost one month, will include a diverse range of events: exhibitions, round tables, concerts, business conferences, films, culinary tastes and a lot of opportunities for socializing.
