On 26th August 2022 Dr. Jože Mencinger died in the age of 82 years. He was one of the
most eminent Slovenian economists and jurists. One part of his life he spent also in the
politics. His activities left a profound sign in the Slovenian society. Important collegues
from the politics and science are expressing their fairwell with memorial articles.
Dr. Jože Mencinger was also a member of the Alps Adriatic Centre for Cross- border Co-
operation from the very beginning.
