The Erasmus Programme for young enterpreneurs , which showed to be successful, is celebrating its 15th anniversary. The programme enables new and aspiring enterpreneurs to achieve the necessary skills in order to establish or to manage their own company.
From its beginning the programme organised more than 45.000 exchange experiences in about 45 countries. Last year the programme achieved a record number of applications , what could be the result of the fact that 92% of participants remain in contact after the first exchange. Based on these figures the European Commision plans to further implement the EYE Programme with the intention to secure the support for young enterpreneurs. The programme offers new and potential enterpreneurs the possibility of international exchange of moving forward innovative ideas.
In the time period of 1 to 6 months the participants have the chance to cooperate with guest companies abroad and to acquire the valuable Know-how. The EYE Program is meant for the population , that intends to establish a new company or runs a company maximum three years old.
