Carinthia and Slovenia strive for mutual application for Winter Olympic Games

 

The Slovenian Minister Matjaž Han of the Economy, Tourism and Sport , visited Carinthia and herewith its Governor Peter Kaiser and the referent for economy of the Carinthian government Sebastian Schuschnig. All three stressed that the existing good cooperation of the two countries streches over borders and emphasised that they would maintain and further build friendly relations, what should be a precedence for the people of both countries.
„We are well aware of the importance of this visit, we can view the cooperation, which is already now very successful on the fields of economy, sport and tourism, also our neighbour relations in total are excellent“, told Kaiser. Schuschnig confirmed :“We will strengthen our continous collaboration and our existing cooperation in the future. Numbers are a proof of successful cross border projects in the past, however we should be orientated into the future !“
Minister Han thanked for today‘s reception in Carinthia, he confirmed very good economic cooperation, he thanked especially for the aid of Carinthia and Austria, which was donated after the August floods, that gravely hit Slovenia.
It is necessary to build upon existing contacts and the wish is the mutual application for the organisation of the Winter Olympics Games in 2034.
