Priljubljena izletniška točka Celjanov in obiskovalcev je Celjska koča, ki ponuja čudovite pohodniške in gorske kolesarske poti. Otroci in odrasli uživajo v adrenalinskem parku in na bob cart stezi, pozimi pa je Celjska koča lepo urejeno smučišče.

V prihodnosti želi Mestna občina Celje nadaljevati z razvojem Šmartinskega jezera, ki ima velik turistični potencial, in privabiti investitorje. V državnem prostorskem načrtu so med drugim predvideni ureditev parkirišča za avtodome, infrastruktura za prireditveni prostor, vzpostavitev naravnega kopališča, izgradnja pomolov in privezov za čolne, sanacija vode ter namestitvene kapacitete.

Ein beliebter Ausflugspunkt der Einwohner und Besucher ist die Celjska koča, die wunderschöne Wander- und Mountainbikewege anbietet. Kinder und Erwachsene genießen den Adrenalin-Park und die Bob-Kart-Bahn, und im Winter ist die Celjska Koča eine schön angelegtes Skigebiet.
Ein Ort vieler Möglichkeiten
Der See Šmartinsko jezero mit seiner Umgebung und dem Strand ist der Stolz von Celje und auch eine gute Gelegenheit für Investoren. Vor allem die Einheimischen und die Bewohner der Umgebung schätzen ihn sehr und besuchen ihn zahlreich. Am See wurde eine Ökosystemweg angelegt und werden viele Möglichkeiten für Wassersport angeboten.
Die Stadtgemeinde Celje ist bestrebt in Zukunft die Weiterentwicklung des Šmartinsko-Sees mit seinem großen touristischen Potential fortzusetzen und Investoren beizuziehen. Der nationale Raumplan sieht unter anderem die Errichtung eines Campingplatzes, der Infrastruktur für eine Veranstaltungsarena, eines Naturbades, Anlegestellen und Liegeplätze für Boote, der Verbesserung des Wassers und weitere Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten vor.
Trekking and bicycle routes
A popular trip destination of Celje inhabitants and visitors is Celjska koča (The Celje hut), which offers attractive trekking and bicycle routes. Children and grown-ups can enjoy in the andrenaline park and on the bob cart path, in winter however Celjska koča changes to a well prepared ski slope.
The town of opportunities
The Šmartinsko lake is with its coast and environment the pride of Celje, and also a good opportunity for investors. Especially domestic people and visitors from the surroundings like it very much and visit the lake frequently. Along the lake there is an ecosystemic path, the possibilities for water sports are numerous, too.
In the future the City Municipality Celje wants to continue with the development of the Šmartinsko lake, which has an enormous tourist potential, investors are welcome ! The country space plan foresees among other things a parking place for campers, an infrastructure for events, an establishment of a natural swimming place, erection of the decks and berths for boats, treatment of the water and the construction of the accomodation capacities.
