The Slovenian municipality of Brda and the Alps-Adriatic Centre for Cross-Border Cooperation (AACC) have successfully organized the traditional cherries festival from May 23rd to 26th in Villach, Klagenfurt and Tschepitschach/Čepiče next Globasnitz/Globasnica. In addition to ripe, sweet cherries and excellent well-being, visitors were able to enjoy splendid wine and prosciutto from Goriška Brda as well as delicious salami from Jauntal/Podjuna.
