CG Kaiser is taking the presidency: EVTZ projects must bring in future more added value to the people – the access of Istria as an associated partner and the cooperation with the regional Chambres of commerce will be confirmed in Klagenfurt in November.
The highest representatives of the regions Carinthia, Friuli – Venezia Giulia and Veneto met on June 20th in Trieste on the conference Euregio »Senza Confini«. At this occasion the CG and EU-reporter Kaiser met the actual President of Euregio »Senza Confini« President of the region Veneto Luca Zaia and also with the new President of Friuli – Venezia Giulia Massimiliano Fedriga. According to the schedule Kaiser will take the presidential position from July 1st, 2018 onwards .
»Also in future the instututionalised cooperation will be important. Regional Chambres of commerce from Carinthia, Friuli – Venezia Giulia and Veneto will sign a cooperation contract at our next meeting, which will be in November in Klagenfurt«, said the Carinthian Governor. One of the topics of the contract will be the mutual recognition of educations. »I will try to use my role in the Council of regions in such a way to position our Euregio in Bruxelles and so to reinforce the possibilities for cooperation with other regions«, Kaiser told about his detailed plans .In the frame of the conference also numerous interregional projects were presented.
INFORMATION: European Union for teritorial cooperation (EVTZ ) Euregio »Senza Confini« has from the year 2013 three members: state Carinthia, autonomic region Friuli – Venezia Giulia and Veneto. The seat of the organization is in Trieste, Friuli – Venezia Giulia. Till June 30 th , 2018 the President of Euregio is the regional President of Veneto Luco Zaia, from July 1st, 2018 the Carinthian Governor Peter Kaiser will becone the President – for the period of three years.
