The results of the recent Eurobarometer survey regarding the public opinion about the quality of live in different EU regions showed that between 95 and 99 percent of citizens in Austrian federal states think the quality of live in their region is good. Carinthia is leading with 99 percent, followed by Styria and Upper Austria ( each 98 percent ).
On European level the value of the quality of live is 83 percent, what means 3 percentage points more since 2018.
The economic situation was evaluated as good especially in Lower Austria, Salzburg and Tyrol, however in Carinthia this value is only at 76 percent. As the biggest actual challenge all federal states consider environment and climate changes.
