According to the data of the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) the inquiry for passenger cars fell in January 2019 for 4,6% – in the EU countries and as well in the EFTA member states.
The German leader VW was especiallly hurt from the decrease of the sales of new cars, which was 6,4%. In the European area the highest decreases were noted in the southern EU member countries, namely eight and seven and half percent in Italy and in Spain.
