On Friday, September 6th in the evening, the first match in the frame of the UEFA Nations League 2024/2025 in the group between Slovenia and Austria was held.
The final result was friendly, the teams finished the game with the outcome 1:1.
However the game was dynamic and attractive, the Austrian team, which is placed 22st on the FIFA World Ranking , showed more, but did not manage to win.
In the match in Ljubljana about 15.000 spectators were present, among them more than 1.000 from Austria. The second game, which will probably be deciding for the first place in the group, where there are also the teams of Norway and Kazakhstan, will be on November 17th, this time in the Austrian capital.
