The European Commission announced on 17th February 2021 that it will invest Eur 121 million into integrated projects under the LIFE programme . This is 20% more in comparision to the previous year.
Actually 12 large environment and climate projects will be supported in 11 member countries as Poland, Belgium, Germany, Ireland and Slovakia. The financial support is aimed to reach national climate and environment targets in particular member countries. The projects , integrated into the LIFE programme , will also activate additional financial funds from the European financial sources, such as agricultural, structural, regional and research funds as well as from national funds and investments of the private sector.
