On Monday, May 20th, 2019 the European Commission published two independant studies, out of which it is evident that the participation at the Erasmus Plus programme had positive effects for the success of students. Both studies are based on the feedback from about 77.000 students, high school employees and more than 500 organizations, the aim of the studies was to measure the consequences of the programme for individuals and organizations.
The results show, that the participants of the Erasmus Plus programme find quicker their career orientation and the work place, the experiences from abroad often help to adapt easier to the changing job environment and to the digital era.
Erasmus Plus did not have positive effect only for students, but also for universities. More than 1000 strategic high school partnerships were supported by the means of the programme.
