For Slovenia was August this year touristic the most successful month up till now. More than 1,2 million of tourist arrivals and about 3,3 million of overnight stays were recorded. This is by two percent more comparing to last August and most ever.
Almost one fourth of all overnight stays was registered in Ljubljana and Piran.
In this year’s first eight months were entirely more than five million of tourist arrivals and a bit more than 13,2 million of overnight stays. The results are by six percent better than last year. Foreign guests created about three quarters of all overnight stays – with Germany, Italy and Austria as Slovenia’s main markets.
