Fascism can be present in various forms, relating itself to totally controversial ideologies. It can be identified through one characteristic: it opposes democracy and with democracy connected universal human rights.
Democracy, in the form of political pluralism, has without any doubt proved to be through the course of the 20th century better than any of the realistically existing alternatives.
