The international diplomacy is still running at high revs, however there seems to be no warming of relations in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The possibilities of economic implications in the case of a military conflict are pushing the thema energy more and more in the first plan.
In the actual Energy-mix the EU is being supplied with the very important natural gas mostly from Russia. Austria even up to 100 percent. In this moment the leaders of the EU are doing their best to establish an international diversification of the energy market under the quasi-command of the USA.
Additionally huge amounts pour out of the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) to energy projects, which are of mutual European interest. (Projects of Common Interest on the European Union) in order to strengthen the internal energy infrastructure by the means of the international approach.
